Overview. Loop Capital has established itself as a leader in the municipal finance industry. Since our founding in 1997, we have served as managing underwriter on municipal financings totaling over $486 billion, including over $63 billion in 2009 YTD.  We senior managed over $3.8 billion in financings in 2008 and nearly $4 billion in financings already 2009 YTD when full credit is given to each book-runner, up 30% from 2008.

Our municipal finance team of 30 banking professionals is headed by James Reynolds. Our fixed-rate practice is supported by strategic structuring and financing advice from our team of twelve specialists.

Fixed Rate Products. Loop Capital has custom-tailored client solutions including debt restructurings, tender offers, municipal forwards, securitization of federal grants, and other financial instruments.

Variable Rate Securities. In a very short time, Loop Capital has built an impressive variable rate book of over $5.5 billion in short-term securities, serving as placement agent, remarketing agent, or auction agent. The product lines include: VRDNs, auction rate, tax-exempt commercial paper, and short-term notes.
