Having worked closely with public sector clients for more than a decade, Loop Capital is intimately aware of the need to maintain and enhance public infrastructure assets, the backbone of national and local economies. Widespread fiscal deficits have made it increasingly essential for cities, counties and states to look beyond traditional public finance solutions to address infrastructure challenges.

In response to this need, Loop Capital established the Infrastructure Advisory and Finance Group (IAFG) that is solely dedicated to exploring and executing alternatives for delivery and management of public infrastructure assets and services such as Public Private Partnerships (P3s).

IAFG is staffed with professionals who have traditional public finance training as well as corporate finance and M&A experience, bringing a unique blend of public policy and private financing perspectives to this emerging market.

Loop Capital has become a recognized leader in P3s for procurement or divestiture of publicly owned infrastructure and is presently engaged on several transactions. Our practitioners have been involved in some of the most innovative P3 projects in the U.S., and have experience in a full range of infrastructure sectors, with an emphasis on transportation, utilities and social infrastructure.
