Loop Capital Markets Participates as a Co-Manager in Historic Bond Deal for World’s Largest Retailer
Loop Capital Markets co-manager in an $800 million, 5 year bond deal for Wal-Mart Stores.
On August 8, 2005, Loop Capital Markets was a co-manager in an $800 million, 5 year bond deal for Wal-Mart Stores. This was a historic deal for Wal-Mart, as the underwriting syndicate consisted primarily of minority/women-owned investment banks. In doing this deal, Wal-Mart was focused on tapping into the investor distribution of the firms in the syndicate as a part of an overall effort to expand the distribution of its debt both in the U.S. and abroad.
