Loop Capital Markets Leads Deal for New York City

Loop Capital Markets serves as book-running senior manager on $475 million General Obligation Bonds.

Loop Capital Markets was recently selected to serve as Book-Running Senior Manager on the $475 million tax-exempt General Obligation Bonds for New York City. Merrill Lynch, Citi, and Bear Stearns are the co-senior managers. This is Loop Capital Market’s first senior managed mandate for the City of New York, one of the most prolific and prestigious issuers in the municipal market. This transaction is part of a larger plan of finance that includes approximately $75 million in taxable fixed rate bonds and $100 million tax-exempt variable rate bonds.
